Mike Mixon is the driver behind “6 Kids 1 Tank“, where he aims to show others how to save money on travel without sacrificing the fun factor.
Mike along with his wife Charisse (whom he affectionately refers to as his “Ole Lady”) are parents to 7 kids, ranging in age from 5 to 21. Due to many of them being active in multiple sports, they spent over 174 days in hotels last year, giving them an ever growing list of places to recommend and things to do once you get there.
In addition to “6 Kids 1 Tank”, Mike is also a moderator for the Facebook group “Daytrips In Ohio” and has worked with several companies, resorts and visitors bureaus, even having the fortune of his kids being featured on the covers of the Middletown, Ohio and Shores & Islands Travel guides.
An avid coaster fanatic (with a current coaster count of 274), Mikes love for Cedar Point and Sandusky are only rivaled by his affinity for Bucee’s travel stops and trips to Vegas.
