Please keep in mind that most conference questions can be answered in this email or on the conference site, BloggyConference.com.

Hotel Breakers has once again allowed us to check-in early on Friday and check-out later on Sunday.
Friday: Check-in as early as 2:00pm ET
Sunday: Check-out as late as 12:00pm ET

Bloggy Con Check-In

Bloggy Conference check-in is Friday evening from 5:00pm – 6:30pm.  If you are not able to arrive during that time, you may have another attendee pick up your swag bag, badge, and Cedar Point tickets.  If you are staying at a Cedar Point hotel, you will pick up your Cedar Point passes at the hotel check-in counter when you check into your hotel.  We must know that they are picking up your stuff or we can not give it to them.  Please complete the form here allowing us to give your check-in items to them.  This must be completed before 12:00pm on Thursday, September 12, 2019.

If you will be arriving later than conference registration is open – you can pick up your conference materials at check-in on Saturday morning.  Please review the agenda here.

Bloggy Con Agenda & App

The Bloggy Conference 2019 Agenda will be available on our site here, and on our app. There will be no printed schedule as the schedule has always seemed to change once we’ve printed it.  This will help us to update things in real-time. The app will have a few select tabs on top but will allow you to navigate the entire Bloggy Conference site.  As in years prior, our app is a third-party app and can be downloaded and installed to your smartphone.  (It may require you to change your phone’s settings to allow the install of third-party apps.)

Forum:  This yea’rs app includes a forum!  You’ll need to sign into the app to use to forum.

Download app here.

For iOS, you may need to go into your settings and Trust “Ons Interactive Solutions Private Limited” in order for the app to launch.  On any phone, you may receive a warning as the download is not coming from the App Store or Play Store.

(1) Go to phone settings

Bloggy Con Map and Video Tour/Map!

Navigating the Cedar Point property can be a little intimidating to first-time visitors.  It’s encouraged to view the property map on their website, CedarPoint.com and become familiar with the hotel and park layout.

Please keep in mind that our conference sessions and check-in are held in two separate buildings, the Hotel Breakers Conference Center (Erie Islands) and the Convention Center.  Though the two sit beside each other, the similar names can be a little confusing.  Please use the Bloggy Conference Map here to help navigate between the two.  The map is also available on the conference app.

You can also view the Virtual Tour Video here.

What to Wear

Planning a trip to Cedar Point, which sits on the shores of Lake Erie – calls for a wardrobe of layers! The conference itself is Business Casual to Casual.

While packing, keep in mind that during a sunny day in September – it can feel quite warm. However, as the sun begins to set and winds pick up across Lake Erie – a good chill may set in. Good walking shoes are a must!

Note that: being inside of Cedar Point, surrounded by the rides – it isn’t as windy as if you’re on the boardwalk or beach.

Above all, keep in mind that you are in Northern Ohio on Lake Erie where fall is setting in.  Bring layers, bring an umbrella, bring good shoes, and check the weather daily.

Cedar Point Tickets

Attendees who stay at a Cedar Point resort for 2 (two) nights during the conference will receive up to 6 (six) 3-day passes valid for Cedar Point that weekend. The number of tickets you receive will be based on the number of registered guests per hotel room (per Bloggy Conference ticket).

Attendees who do not stay at a Cedar Point resort for 2 (two) nights during the conference will receive up to (2) 1-day Cedar Point-only tickets

You will pick up your Cedar Point passes when you check into your Cedar Point hotel.  If you are not staying at a Cedar Point hotel, you will be able to pick these tickets up when you check into the conference on Friday night or Saturday.

Sponsors

Without our sponsors and everything they provide for this event – we would not be able to host the event at such an amazing location.  Remember to reach out to them publicly and privately to thank them for everything they have done.  A lot of time, energy, and thought goes into this weekend and without them, none of it would be possible.

If you are trying to build up travel articles/content – this is a great location and time to do so.  Remember to take pictures, and video – and create content to showcase your adventure and capabilities.
Remember to adhere to our Code of Conduct and Sponsorship Policies.

Facebook Group

Our Facebook community is a great place to connect with current and past attendees.  It is a great resource for your questions and engagement before, during and after this weekend.

What’s the best way to contact Tiffany?

Through email. Unfortunately, every social account has a messaging system which creates more work and confusion in trying to keep up with questions. Please do not send Bloggy Conference questions through messaging on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, or other social networks – as they are likely to be missed.

Please send questions that have not been addressed in this email, on the site or in our Facebook group to tiffany@bloggymoms.com as other accounts (including Facebook’s Messenger) are not monitored daily and I would hate to miss important questions.
