With breakneck advances in technology, from 20 pound video cameras with attached VCRâs slung over your shoulder like Indiana Jonesâs satchel in the 80s, to their bite sized âmicro-machinedâ counterparts, the âHandyCam” in the 90s, the evolution of DIY film has become more convenient. Fast forwarding to present day, those bulky cameras are 1/10th their former size and now inside every smartphone, providing access to visually create regardless of your budget.
Now that the power to create is in the palm of your hand, how do you actually create? After recording, what’s next. And most importantly, how will you capitalize on what you’ve created, with or without a huge following?
